Parenting classes offered by Centralia College Child and Family Studies. 

Centralia- on campus: Dynamic Dads is a class designed to bring dads together to discover the fulfillment of being a nurturing father who actively provides guidance, support and love that enhances the development and growth of the children for whom he cares. 

Centralia-Cooks Hill Community Church:
Fortaleciendo Familias Para los jóvenes edades 10-14 y sus padres o guardianes- is for Spanish speaking families with youth 10-14 years of age. It is focused on reducing risk factors for adolescent problem behaviors and building protective factors in young adolescents.  Parents learn communication tools and effective discipline and guidance.  Youth are given skills for dealing with stress and peer pressure, to build a healthy future orientation.  

Incredible Years® program is designed to strengthen parent-child interactions and attachment. Parents learn ways to promote children’s social skills, emotional regulation and problem solving, each an essential school readiness component

Becoming a Love & Logic Parent® is a class designed to help parents gain new tools for creating home environments that encourage family cooperation, while becoming more confident and having more fun parenting.

Parenting in Recovery (PIR) is a FREE class for parents in substance abuse recovery who are on the journey to rebuild connections and bonds with their children.

TIPS is a class designed to strengthen family relationships.

Centralia-NW Sports Hub: Learning with Infants and Toddlers in a Natural Classroom Setting is a class designed to provide an opportunity for developmentally delayed and typically developing children from birth through 36 months to learn together, and for parents and caregivers to understand and encourage their children’s individual developmental age and stage.

Learning and Playing (LeaP) is for parents and their children Birth-48 months. It is an interactive program where parents learn and play with their youngest children. Discussions focus on physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development of children.

Grandparents as Parents (GAP) is an education and support class designed for grandparents and other relative caregivers who are raising their relatives’ children.
