E.P.I.C. WARRIORS FOR KIDS
Empowering People in Courage
On April 13, 2017
Officer Chris Fulton, Morton PD
has been recognized as the
First recipient of the Youth Advocacy Center's
EPIC WARRIOR AWARD!
Courage is strength in the face of fear or pain or grief.
Courage is what allows a child to tell their story, to share what has happened to them.
Courage is what allows an adult or peer to report suspected child abuse, physical or sexual or neglect.
Courage is doing the hard or scary thing knowing it is right.
At our April 13, 2017 YAC presented the 'Stewards of Children' at Bethel Church, where the Youth Advocacy Center recognized its first ever EPIC WARRIOR for Children; Morton Police Officer Christopher Fulton!
Officer Fulton has shown dedication and pursuit of justice and supports for families in Lewis County. He works tirelessly and generously with the Youth Advocacy Center, helping children and families find the courage to tell their story of abuse. A mother of two seen at the YAC recently stated about Officer Fulton, " He's the most caring and compassionate officer I have ever met! He has helped us above and beyond, what we could have ever expected. And he's just super nice! Most of all, he has believed my children and has supported us in every way he could in all of this."
We are provided Officer Fulton with a certificate, gift certificate for dinner donated generously by Mackinaws Restaurant, and an engraved clock to show appreciation of his time working with children and families.
Congratulations Officer Fulton, you are an EPIC WARRIOR for CHILDREN!
