Executive Director: Trish McNabb

For 17 years, Trish worked closely with community and citizen leaders to strengthen the health of kids and families. Leading 3 Community Public Health and Safety Network boards to prioritize local needs and tailor local solutions.  Community health is built through honoring ALL voices in a community in particular those who utilize and need the services.  


McNabb has a Bachelor of Science in Social Assessment and Policy and is a trained facilitator for Adverse Childhood Experiences, Darkness to Light- Stewards of Children, is a trained Child Forensic Interviewer and as a Sexual Assault Advocate.


Forensic Interviewer:  Samantha Mitchell​

Samantha has officially joined the team here at the Youth Advocacy Center as a Forensic Interviewer!  Samantha is a 6th generation Lewis County native who has gained immense experience in the field of child abuse prevention and intervention field given her work as a Professional Child Forensic Interviewer in 4 counties, as a certified paralegal,  and as a Guardian Ad Litem.  The Youth Advocacy Center is excited to be able to add Samantha to the team!



Family Advocate: Patti Motteler


"I am thrilled to be the Family  with the Youth Advocacy Center of Lewis County!" ~Patti Motteler 

Patti is a certified Sexual Assault Advocate  and Lewis County Guardian Ad Litem.   Working as a court appointed special advocate for 8 years in King County provided Patti the experience of how to support children in crisis or who are involved in the legal system the needed protections and supports to not just survive but thrive YAC is lucky to now have her skills and heart here for our kids in Lewis County.   Patti and her husband Del, have been fantastic volunteers and representatives of YAC whether designing posters or volunteering for us at United Way events!
